Common Questions
What is DenialOS?
DenialOS is a healthcare denial-management and revenue-cycle operations platform. It transforms denied claims into tracked, deadline-aware appeal workflows with evidence awareness, human review, and audit logging.
How does DenialOS work?
DenialOS captures denial letters and ERA/835 data, creates structured operating cases, evaluates appeal rules, drafts evidence-aware responses, requires human review, tracks payer interactions, and logs outcomes for continuous learning.
Who is DenialOS for?
DenialOS is designed for hospital billing teams, revenue cycle managers, denial management specialists, healthcare RCM vendors, and medical billing companies managing high volumes of denied claims.
Does DenialOS use AI?
Yes. DenialOS uses governed AI for classification, extraction, drafting, and reasoning — but every AI-assisted action is flagged for human review before submission. The system never uses AI as clinical authority or unrestricted EHR mutation authority.
What integrations does DenialOS support?
DenialOS supports Epic, Oracle Health, athenahealth, MEDITECH via FHIR R4 and HL7 messaging, plus X12/EDI clearinghouse feeds and payer system APIs.
Is DenialOS HIPAA compliant?
DenialOS is designed with HIPAA-aligned controls including tenant isolation, encryption, audit logging, and access controls. Compliance certifications are not claimed by the repository.
